Apotheca opened it’s doors in 2008 and is situated in a listed building in the creative Northern Quarter of Manchester. The word ‘Apotheca’ originated in the 14th Century from the Greek word ‘apotheke’ and means ‘one who prepares and sells drugs or compounds for medicinal purposes’. The name comes from the antique pharmacy cabinets which grace the front of the bar.Location: 75 High Street, Manchester M4 1FS
