Trinidad-born John Lyons is the author of three collections of poetry and Cook up in a Trini Kitchen, combining poems, recipes, and artwork. Guyana-born Grace Nichols has published several collections including I is a Long Memoried Woman, which won the Commonwealth Poetry Prize, The Fat Black Woman’s Poems, and most recently I Have Crossed an Ocean: Selected Poems.
